competing on price

Thursday, August 26th, 2004

the dumbest thing to do in a competitve environment is to compete on price (that was one of the first lessons in marketing during my MBA – along with: if you are the market leader don’t compare yourself to the runner ups or mention them in your ads!)

fred wilson has an interesting post on the topic: A VC: Competing on Price

Bored of Directors

Tuesday, July 27th, 2004

this blog entry by avc is very interesting, especially for europeans: A VC: Bored of Directors (Continued).

it would be interesting to think about setting up a similar type of situation here in european companies because the board of directors and the supervisory board is simply not the same!

and here is a follow up to fred’s post: OnlyOnce: The Good, The Board, and The Ugly – also an interesting read!

note to myself: i gotta figure this trackback thing out!
