tonight my site was the target of a serious comment spam. about 50 comments were left in almost all entrys.

this really sucks! it was easy to delete by going to the database and erasing it but it still costs a lot of time.

what a bunch of idiots who really think that this will make them any money…

i found this great quote in the comment section of this entry at tech:knowledge:

people are literally afraid of their computers. they think they will break. this is obviously because they never back anything up. if they actually did they would be fearless. or they are really just afraid of the darn things.

people always ask how i know so much ( i have to look after about a dozen systems) and I just tell them I’m not afraid of my computer.

this last sentence is exactly how i feel… 😉
