i’m sitting at the vienna international airport and have 3 hours to kill. my flight to moscow is delayed and instead of arriving at 0:45 in the morning, i’m now schedule to land at 3am. what a nightmare!
but the good thing is: VIE has free access to WiFi and so i can read emails, blogs and catch up on all the open webpages i’ve been keeping in safari.
from the university of michigan – even better election maps: Election result maps
well, i did not expect less from the u of m… 😉
note: this is a follow up to this entry
an article about the two societies in the US. it is really fascinating how this society is changing and especially how different it is from europe.
The New York Times > Opinion > Op-Ed Columnist: Take a Ride to Exurbia
here is the strader family’s website: Fall Happenings
it looks great!
here are some very interesting comparisons via maps of the election results: The Big Picture: We’ve gone Map Crazy!
and this one is very cool too: Jon Udell: Electoral ebb and flow
it’s not official yet but as some kerry supporters are saying: it makes no sense for kerry to draw this out even further…
i cannot believe that bush won a second term. he is by far worse than his father! and bush sr. only got one term…
i really feel bad for the US because, i fear, the worst is yet to come… (and the world will suffer as a consequence)
🙁
john gruber’s take on the ipod is once again enlightning and spot on: Daring Fireball: iPod Mania (that’s the only way to counter paul thurrott: showing that his opinion in the past was always wrong…)
besides john’s fabulous articles i really like his site design and will take quite some clues from there…
Why? (go read it, it’s depressing…)
